Mary received her formal education in the Fort Gibson Public School system graduating with the Class of 1949. She worked for Advertising Inc. as an office manager for 22 years. Mary was a faithful member of the Fort Gibson First United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. Mary was an active member of the Methodist Women’s Group. She always welcomed you in her home and was a second mother to everyone. Mary’s passion was taking care of her family. She loved her favorite horse Judy, traveling, and taking care of her immaculate yard. Mary was always positive and cheerful.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobbie; and her brothers, David and Bob Langston.
Mary is lovingly survived by her daughters; Judy Brown of Owasso and Janet Baker of Tulsa; son, Alan Peebles of Owasso; grandsons, Brad Baker and his wife Joy and Ryan Baker; a great granddaughter, Ava Baker, numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A graveside service Celebrating Mary’s life will be 1:00PM Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the Citizens Cemetery Pavilion in Fort Gibson, OK with Reverend Ray Crawford officiating. Casket Bearers are Ryan Baker, David Peebles, Jason Caldwell, Mark Kasabyan, Steve Clinkenbeard and Mike Langston.
