A. Roy Burt Dies In Winona Hospital
Retired Railroad Man Succumbs Following Illness.
A Roy Burt, 52, died at the Winona hospital last night following a short illness. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Presbyterian Church in Winona. Burial was made in Winona cemetery with Trewola Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Burt was a retired railroad man and was connected with the A. R. Burt Insurance Co. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elise McCloud Burt and a son, Roy Burt, Jr. student at Ole Miss, also the following brothers and a sister: W. R. Burt, Grenada; Earl B. Burt, Dallas, Texas; Enos M. Burt, Wichita Falls, Texas; William Burt, Longview, Texas and Mrs. D. M. Allen, Anguilla.
