Helen (Luongo) Carbone, age 95, of Boston’s North End, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2016 at Bethany Health Care Center in Framingham, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late John A. Carbone, Jr; Devoted mother of Mary Carbone, and Rose Deliago and her husband Frank all of Ashland, MA; Cherished grandmother of Jill Bieler and her husband Leo, and Jessica Luvisi and her husband Alex, all of Upton, MA; Loving great grandmother of Morgan, Colton, Camden, and Brooklyn. She also leaves many dear nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

Helen was a long time active member of St. Leonard’s Parish as well as a member of the former St. Damien Society.

Her Funeral will be from the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial Street, Boston on Tuesday, May 31st at 8:45am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:45am in St. Leonard’s Church, corner of Hanover and Prince Street, Boston. The family will be receiving guests on MONDAY at the Funeral Home from 3-7pm. Services will conclude with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
