LYONS — Mrs. Florence Bethers, 86, died Thursday at the Lyons District Hospital after a long illness. Born June 8, 1884, near Lyons, she was married to Frank Bethers Nov. 3,
1912, in rural Lyons. He died Jan. 31, 1970. She had been a lifetime resident here.
She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Crawford-Miller Mortuary; Rev. Don Moor. Burial will be in the Lyons Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association.
