Mrs. Price of Route 3 Dies
Mrs. Polly Price, 81, of Route 2, Grapeland, died at 6:50 p.m. Friday after and an illness of five months. Mrs. Price was born in Houston County on October 16, 1867, and was the widow of the late Sidney A. Price.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Elkhart Cemetery with the Reverend C. Frank Vork officiating. Interment will be in the Elkhart Cemetery. The body will remain at Hassell and Foster Funeral Home until funeral time.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Price is survived by four sons, Woodard Price, Willie Price and Charlie Price, all of Conroe and Leathard Price of Grapeland; three daughters, Mrs. Ola Hendon of Grapeland, Mrs. Addie Lovatt, of Magazine, Ark., and Mrs. Jesse Burnett of Percilla; twenty-eight grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
