Relatives here were deeply shocked at word 3:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon that Frank (Tex) Magee, 56, had been killed when hit by a train at Des Moines, where he lived and worked for a railroad.

It seems he was walking down a track and stepped off for an oncoming train, into the path of another train.

He was a brother of Ota Magee of this place, and of Mrs. Riley (Etta) Castle of St. Joseph.

The Noble ambulance brought the body here Saturday night. Funeral services were held at the local Christian church Monday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. J.W. Minor of St. Joseph. Burial was in Foster cemetery (sic).

"Tex" was here a few months ago to attend his brother, Raymond's, funeral.
