Elizabeth migrated to near Peosta, IA in the mid 1830's with her (Haggard) family.
She met husband, Pythagoras, in that locality and married in 1844. In the mid 1850's the couple and their two children, Amanda and Sarah moved to Roscoe in Goodhue County, MN. In the 1870's their family moved to farm in Stately Township (near Springfield, MN) for many years before returning to the Roscoe/Concord area in the late 1890's. In the early 1900's after her husband's passing she lived in Tomah, WI with her daughter Nancy's family, then to Grafton-Hamilton, ND to spend the rest of her life living with son Earl's family.
