Wm. C. Lee died at the home of his son, Walter Lee, in this city Monday afternoon at 2:20 o'clock. Mr. Lee was born in England and was about ninety years old. He came to America when a young man and at the age of twenty-one was married to Miss Carrie Marsellis. Of the nine children born to them, four are living. They are Mrs. Susan Smith of Postville, Mrs. Geo. Yarwood and Walter Lee of Decorah. Edwin Lee, Canby, Minn. His second wife was Miss Lena Rotner. Three children by this union survive. They are John Lee of Oklahoma, Mrs. Carrie Hislop of Decorah, Martin Lee of Oregon. Mr. Lee was one of the early settlers of Decorah, but for a number of years resided in California, returning here about thirty years ago. The funeral service was held yesterday afternoon, Rev. K. W. Robbins, officiating.
