OGDEN – Phyllis Sophia Dagsen Winkler passed away after a short battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 17, 2005. She was born May 10, 1928 in Driggs, Idaho, a daughter of Parley and Laura May Stevenson Dagsen. She had five children, Jo, Joyce, Rusty, Jeanette, and Jes; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Lucille Davis of Corinne; one brother, Herman Dagsen of Ogden. Phyllis devoted the last 25 years of her life to missionary work for the Jehovah's Witnesses. She had an excellent sence of humor which she maintained throughtout her suffering. She died with the hope of resurrection. We know that we will see her again – until then, we cherish her memory, celebrate her life, and mourn her absence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herb, two daughters, Joyce and Jeanette, four brothers, Forest, Darrell, Russell and Boyd Dagsen, one sister, Joyce Dagsen West. Memorial services were held on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Ogden. It was Phyllis request that she be cremated. Funeral Directors, Gillies Funeral Chapel, Brigham City.
