Griesemer, eighty years old, died Wednesday evening at her home at 121 West Maple street. She had been ill three months.
Born in Madison township, St. Joesph county, July 31, 1869, Mary Weiss was the daughter of George and Elisabeth (Kinzie) Weiss. She was married on March 13, 1892, to Edward Beyler, who died May 28, 1936. She was married to Rev. I. H. Griesemer Oct 28, 1943.
Surviving besides the husband are seven children -- Oscar Beyler, Naperville, Ill.; Mrs. Ruth Siemsen, Naperville; Raymond Beyler, LaPaz; Lester Beyler, Delavan, Ill.; Valera and Edith Beyler, Chicago; and Mrs. Olive Laudeman, Bremen. There are five stepchildren -- Benjamin Griesemer, Porterville, Cal.; Mrs. A. J. Mundorf, East Gary; Walter Griesemer, Bremen; Hulda Griesemer, Cleveland; Mrs. J. W. Arnold, Riverside, Ill. There are eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Huff Funeral Home until the time of the funeral, which will be held at 2:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon in Salem Evangelical United Brethren church, where Mrs. Griesemer had been a member since her girlhood. Rev. V. L. Palmer, pastor, will officiate in the service and burial will be in the Bremen cemetery.
