Son of Edward Beyler and Mary Weiss. In 1940, he was living in Delavan with his sister, Olive. He married Margaret Kerker Hughes on 9 Oct 1943 in Metamora. He ran a successful dry cleaning business for nearly 40 years, and served two terms as Delevan's mayor. He was survived by his wife, a stepson, brother Raymond Beyler, and four sisters: Edith and Valerie beyler, Ruth Siemsen, and Olive Laudeman.
