ELECTA L. COLVIN
Aurora, Nov. 30, 1942 (Special) Funeral services were conducted at the Ransom Miller Chapel here Monday for Electa L. Colvin, 80, who died Friday at her home in Portland. Burial was in the Aurora cemetery.

Mrs. Colvin was born August 31, 1862, near Forest Grove, to pioneer parents, William and Mary Lingenfelter. The family later moved to Marshland where she was married to Henry L. Colvin, who entered the lumber business on the lower Columbia river.

In 1906, they moved to Portland and in 1912 to a farm at Aurora. Her husband died some years ago and Mrs. Colvin returned to Portland two years ago.

Surviving are seven children: Walter, Robert I., Henry W.B., James M. all of Aurora, and Ralph, Mrs. A. L. Lynch and Elsie C. Colvin, all of Portland; a sister, Mrs. Walter Colvin, Marshland and brother, George Lingenfelter, in Washington; 30 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Aurora Funeral Parlor, Aurora, Oregon, Monday 2PM. Friends invited.
