Shirley Beatrice “Pat” Parton Cannon, 83, of Spartanburg, SC, died Friday, July 3, 2020, at Spartanburg Medical Center-Mary Black Campus. Born December 11, 1936, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Dea Parton and Gladys Mae Byers Parton. She was a member of Fairforest Church of God and enjoyed making crafts, and most of all, she loved her family and pets!

Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Laverne Wayne Cannon of the home; sons, Glenn Allen Fowler (Julie) of Campobello, SC and Phillip Todd Cannon of Kings Mountain, NC, Stephen Laverne Cannon of Spartanburg, SC and Kenneth Wayne Cannon of Pauline, SC; five grandchildren, Jeremy, Ron, Kristina, Alex, and Heather; two great-granddaughters, Claire and Olivia; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Parton; and a nephew, Bradd Parton. She was predeceased by her brother, Deavon Parton and a daughter-in-law, Mandi Cannon.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2020 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307,
conducted by the Rev. Tommy Sparks.
