Son of Thomas Allen Wright, AKA Thomas Benjamin Allien and Melbra "Millie" Josephine Washington Allien. Married to Josephine Corley November 4, 1917 in LaSalle parish. Died the next year of pneumonia (Spanish Flu) while enlisted in the army during WWI (Co. L., 5th LA Inf.). He was stationed at Camp Beauregard where an epidemic was raging.

Jena newspapers are missing from around the date of his death, but a paragraph appeared in surviving newspapers just a few days before his death:

Uncle Tom Allein [sic], an old Confederate war horse from Ward 5, was here last Saturday and expressed the desire to enter the army to assist his two sons [This would be Allie and Dewitt] and the other LaSalle boys in licking the Huns.
