Leora married twice. First she wed Irenus J. Tefft, who was born about 1851 in Connecticut and died on Jan. 10, 1890 in Hartford. They had two sons, Howard T. Tefft in 1874, and Joseph F. Tefft in 1877. Neither boy appeared to be alive in 1900.
