He had been contractor for several of the churches in Canyon and for many buildings on the West and North side of the square. Survived by his wife; three sons - Ernest, Lawrence, Vincent; two daughters - Mrs. W.C. Briggs, Mrs. A.J. Newberry; one brother - Will; two sisters - Mrs. J.L. Black, Mrs. W.C. Reynolds; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
