Delores T. Mordente, 80, of Old Forge, died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the Mountain View Care Center, Scranton. She was the widow of Carmen Mordente, who died in 1986.

Born in Pittston, daughter of the late James and Eleanor Gramas Toole, she was a graduate of Pittston High School. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish, St. Mary's Church, Old Forge.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Mountain View Care Center for the special care and compassion given to Delores.

Surviving are two daughters, Laurie Breza and husband, Paul, Old Forge; and Michele Gaidula and husband, John, Taylor; a daughter-in-law, Paulette Mordente, Old Forge; three brothers, James Toole and wife, Mary-Ann, Niagara Falls, NY; Joseph Toole, Kingston; and Robert Toole and wife, Arlene, Exeter; a sister-in-law, Marie Mordente, Old Forge; six grandchildren, Christina and Anthony Mordente, Jayson and Paul Breza and Tyler and Gianna Gaidula.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Anthony J; a brother, John Toole; and two sisters, Marion Beer and Nora Armitage.

The funeral will be at the Louis V Ciuccio Funeral Home, 145 Moosic Road, Old Forge, followed by Mass at Prince of Peace Parish, St. Mary's Church, West Grace and Lawrence streets, Old Forge. Interment, Old Forge Cemetery.
