Dr. Charles Earl Whitehead, 81, of Brooksville, died Sunday, Nov 21, 2004 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

He was born Dec 8, 1922 to the late William Joseph & Eunice McKenney Gruelle Whitehead.

Dr. Whitehead was a veterinarian, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II - who served at the Battle of the Bulge, a member and elder at Brooksville Christian Church and a former Brooksville City Councilman.

Survivors include: his wife, Thelma C Whitehead; two daughters, Margaret Whitehead of Brooksville and Barbara Whitehead of Ft. Thomas; a son, Church Whitehead of Maysville; two grandchildren, Dylan Joseph Whitehead and Daniel Forsythe, and a brother, William Whitehead of Brooksville.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Nov 24, 2004 at Moore and Parker Funeral Home in Brooksville. Burial was in Bracken Memorial Cemetery.
