William Whitehead, age 90 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
He was of the Baptist faith and was a loving husband of 66 years, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He enjoyed spending time with his family.
William was in the alumni association of UK and a retired employee of Proctor and Gamble for 40 years.
He is preceded in death by parents William J. and Eunice (Gruelle) Whitehead; brother Charles Whitehead.
He is survived by wife Virginia Whitehead of LaFollette; sons Tom Whitehead and wife Nancy of Minneapolis, MN and David Whitehead of Union, KY; daughter Marcie Napier of LaFollette; grandchildren Chris Napier and wife Amy, LeeAnn Oldham and husband Mike, Pat Whitehead, Sam Whitehead, Erin Rowland and husband Drew; great grandchildren Gabe and Jacob Oldham, Noah and Ava Rowland.
Visitation will be 2-3 PM Saturday, June 17, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by service at 3 PM with Rev. Ronnie Poston officiating.
Campbell County Honor Guard is in charge of the military services for William Whitehead.
