Christine Howard Blount, born May 3, 1929, and passed away Friday, June 19, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Blount; mother, Sallie Bell Johnson; brother, Otis Howard; and sister, Dorothy Howard Bolton. Christine leaves behind to grieve her passing, nieces and nephews, Sandra Beaty, Gregory and Amanda Bolton, Deborah Bolton, Jwyanza and Lois Bolton; as well as a host of grand nieces and nephews.
Christine was the eldest of three siblings, who were born in Atlanta, GA where she lived in the city until many years later when she made Decatur, GA her home. Christine was a member of Butler Street Baptist Church where during her earlier years she sang in the choir. She was a dedicated employee of Rich’s and K Mart department stores. Besides fashion and decorating her passion was her family and friends whom she loved with all of her heart and she will be missed and loved by each one.
The Graveside service to honor and celebrate the life of Christine Howard Blount will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery, 1173 Cascade Cir SW - Atlanta, GA – 30311.
