Annelore S. Thiemann was born April 28, 1930, in Berlin, Germany, the daughter of to Wilhelm and Magdalena (Gebert) Thiemann. She immigrated to the United States to Davenport. She married Bernard Earnest Shufelt. Bernard preceded her in death on October 11, 1958. She married Carl Edward Aringdale. Carl preceded her in death on February 9, 1998. She was employed as a physical therapist with Mercy Hospital in Davenport, until retiring in 1990. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, stamp collecting and bird watching.
Surviving are one daughter, Lorie (William) Arndt of Davenport; one son, Edward (Pamela) Aringdale of Sandy, OR; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbel Thiemann and Karin (Horst) Schafer, both of Berlin, Germany; and one brother, Horst (Ivette Ernst)Thiemann of Los Angeles, Chile.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two sisters, Inga and Ruth; and one brother, Dieter Thiemann.
