Nina was the daughter of John W. Breeden and Cordelia Rowden. She was born in Miller Twp. in rural Maries Co., Missouri and the 5th of 12 children in this family.

She married John Clarence Cook on Dec. 3, 1891.

Nina died at the State Hospital No. 3 near Nevada in Vernon Co., Missouri.

Nina Ann Cook, 67, died September 3, 1943. She was born February 12, 1876 in Maries County, Missouri to John W. and Cordelia Rowden Breeden. In 1890 they moved to Cookville, Missouri where she met and married John C. Cook December 3, 1891. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; 3 siblings and a daughter, Nina Ellen Hinshaw. Survivors include 8 siblings; two sons, George and Clarence; 1 daughter, Rose mack and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Burial in City Cemetery, Lebanon, Missouri.
