Mrs. Lula C. Gray, 79, formerly of Rossville, died on Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Shaw, in Fort Wayne of a cerebral hemorrhage, following an illness of three weeks. Born on July 18, 1876, she was the daughter of Joshua and Louvina (Manion) Gard. On May 5, 1897, she married L. D. Gray, who died on Feb. 1, 1918.

Surviving besides the daughter are four sisters, Mrs. James Peterson and Mrs. G. V. Sigler, both of Flint, Mich., Mrs. Ted Hooker of Minot, N. Dak., and Mrs. Ross Campbell of Lafayette; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. on Saturday in the L. E. Moore & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley B. Hopper officiating. Burial was in the Rossville cemetery.
