Mrs. Lell (Gard) Espy, 3116 Winthrope avenue, Indianapolis, died at 8:25 p. m. on Saturday at her home. She was 90 years old, and formerly resided north of Rossville. Born Dec. 1, 1864, in Carroll county, she was the daughter of Louvina and Joshua Gard. In 1892 she was married to Edward Espy, who preceded her in death in 1921. Mrs. Espy was a member of the Presbyterian church.

Survivors include three sons, George and Ralph, both of Indianapolis, and Francis of London, England; five sisters, Mrs. Ted Hooker, Minot, S. Dak., Mrs. Joseph Sigler and Mrs. James Peterson, both of Flint, Mich., Mrs. Lula Gray of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Ross Campbell of Lafayette, and a brother, William Gard of Indianapolis.

Two funerals were held. The first service was held at Blackwell Funeral Home, 1503 North Meridian street, Indianapolis, at 8.m. on Monday, and the second service was held at the L. E. Moore & Son Funeral Home here at 2 p. m. on Tuesday. Interment was in the Rossville cemetery.
