A son of the late DeLeon and Lee Blanche Cash Addison, he was born November 7, 1945 in Stephens County, Georgia where he has lived all of his life. Mr. Addison was a United States Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War and was a member and past vice commander of the V.F.W. Post 4346 in Toccoa. He attended Sunnyside Baptist Church. He graduated from Stephens County High School in 1963 and later from North Georgia Technical College. He was employed with Marconi Corporation for a number of years. Mr. Addison was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Addison.
Mr. Addison is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Loretta Hancock Addison of the home, son and daughter-in-law, Russ and Amanda Addison of Toccoa, three grandchildren Bryson Kent, Garrett Addison and Emmett Addison, brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Brenda Addison of Toccoa, sister and brother-in-law, Lynn Addison and Chuck Bentley of Lexington, Ga., sister-in-law, Madge Addison of Toccoa, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Darryl Addison, Derek Addison, Cory Addison, Bryson Kent, Larry Hancox, and Steve Crisp.
Interment is in Stephens Memorial Gardens with Military Veteran Honors Performed by the Georgia- National Guard Honor Guard.
