Anna Elizabeth Blanch Johansen
Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend, Anna Elizabeth Blanch Johansen, age 98, passed away May 14, 1997, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Anna was born September 30, 1898, in West Weber, Utah, the daughter of Christian C. and Annie B. Blanch. She married Leo Walter Johansen on December 10, 1919 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1977.
Anna was loved by all who knew her. Her sweet, loving, countenance will be greatly missed.
Survived by one daughter Janene and husband, Carl Wallace, two daughter-in-laws, Violet (Durlan) Johansen, Marjory (Vaun) Johansen, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, Lorna, and two sons, Durlan and Vaun.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 22, 1997, 2 p.m., at the Huntsville Cemetery, Huntsville, Utah. Friends may call Thursday, 11 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East. Interment: Huntsville Cemetery. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Mortuary.
