Loucrecia Roberts Daniel was often called "Kit" by the family, but was known as "Lou" or "Kitty" to others. She was the wife of Absalom Daniel and the daughter of Isaac Roberts and Elizabeth Dunaway Roberts. She gave life to six children, Martha, Flaria, Cora, James Isaac, William Sawyer and Essie. Martha and Flaria preceded her in death, in quick succession, when both were under ten years of age. Essie died as a baby, a few months after Loucrecia.
