Nancy Abbott Keown, 96 of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday March 5, 2017 at the Morgantown Care & Rehab. She was born September 28, 1920 in Butler County Kentucky to the late John D. and Erdean Staples Abbott and wife of the late Thurman Keown. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband and four brothers Chester, Ardell, John T. and Vernon Abbott; four sisters Reval Keown, Josephine Kolodziej, Justeen Dukes and Evadean Abbott and her companion of many years Troy Lee Penrod.
Nancy Abbott Keown is survived by two sisters Ona Mitchell of Quality, Kentucky and Beaulah Middleton of Morgantown, Ky.; one brother Arlis Abbott of Indiana; adopted son Chucky Keown of Texas.
Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
