Martha Coffee
Given in honor of Mrs. Coffee, killed and scalped by Indians in 1860 on the Duffer Ranch.
The first grave in the Alameda Cemetery.

The original marker was replaced by the Alameda Cemetery Association. There are several unlegible stone markers around her gravesite (behind and between the cedar trees in the picture). This location is the original cemetery site.
