Mr. Robert “Junior” Sanders, 87, of Scottsboro, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020. He was an Army Veteran and worked at Norandal until his retirement.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Sanders-Mill Creek Cemetery in Skyline, AL. The family will receive friends on Wednesday beginning at 11:00 am until time of service.

Robert is survived by his son, Anthony (Tara) Sanders; host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Billy Sanders of Sterling, IL, Lucille Peacock Evans if Scottsboro, AL, Stanley Wayne Peacock of Hollytree, AL, Doyle Edward Peacock of Gurley, AL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Flossie Dalton Sanders; sons, Ronald (Ronnie) Ray Sanders, Robert (Robbie) Eric Sanders, and Thomas (Eugene) Dodd; father, James Arthur Sanders; mother, Eva Sanders Peacock; sisters, Pauline Sanders Putman, Annie Ruth Sanders Robertson, and Edith Peacock Hanks; brothers, James Howard Sanders, and John Franklin Peacock; great grandchildren, Andrew Smith and Landyn White.
