She married Kenneth Harry Keyes on 17 Jun 1950, one day before her 18th birthday. She had a son, Ronald Kent Keyes, about 13 months later on 27 Jul 1951. She had a daughter, Marilyn Kay Keyes on 17 Jun 1954.
They raised their family primarily in Evanston, Wyoming, but they did live a short amount of time in Rawlins, Wyoming, Green River, Wyoming and Ogden, Utah.
Bernice and Kenneth were married 48 years before Kenneth died. Bernice was so unhappy after he died. She died 20 Nov 2001 in Evanston, Wyoming at the age of 69.
