She was born March 25, 1924 in Port Jervis, NY the daughter of the late James and the late Mary Agnes Ross Collins.
Alice was predeceased by her husband Donald Rynearson on December 14, 2008. Earlier in life she was married to Ralph Orlando who predeceased her.
She worked as a Line Supervisor for Kolmar Labs in Port Jervis, NY.
Alice attended the First Presbyterian Church of Port Jervis. She was an Avid Bowler at both Minisink Lanes and PJ Bowl in Port Jervis.
A family statement read: One of Alice’s favorite hobbies was collecting Teddy Bears and she had a collection of over 100 Teddy Bears.
Alice’s family would like to thank all her wonderful neighbors for their kindness towards over the years.”
Surviving are:
3 Sisters: Betty Jean Collins of Port Jervis, NY; Hazel McCormack and her husband John of Gladstone, MO and Arlene Cavanaugh and her husband James of Fairbanks, Alaska.
Niece: Sandy Simpson and her husband Greg and family of Sparrowbush, NY.
Also several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Florence Mineau and her 5 brothers; James, Francis, John, George and Robert.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM from Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis with Rev. Ann Akers officiating.
Burial will at the convenience of the family in Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY.
