The daughter - of Frank and Anna Buchanan 'Droll. She was born Nov. 9, 1881, at Whittington, IL. She was married in 1900 to Harvey A. Gifford. He died Nov, 20, 1920. Her second marriage was in 1927 to John Beeney. He died April 9, 1942. She was married to Guy Alexander January 27, 1951. He survives. In addition to Mr. Alexander, she is survived by two sons, Herbert E. Gifford of Letts and Claude W. Gifford of Ambler, Pa.; two daughters, Mrs. "L'edru Braucht of Joy and Mrs. Finni Johnston ol Rock Island; one sister, Mrs. Charles E. Kistler of Aledo; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The body is now at the Fairbanks home for funerals. Services will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday, May 5, with Rev. Ralph Fischer in charge. Interment will be at the Buffalo Prairie Cemetery.
