Marcella J. Burrows, born September 10, 1906 in Melrose, Minnesota died August 16, 2007 just short of her 101st birthday. She had been a longtime area resident and member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Marcella's faith and family were extremely important to her and she enjoyed caring for them in any way she could. She loved cooking, and especially baking her specialty pies and cookies. She loved flowers and always had a beautiful garden. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest L. Burrows, son Daniel Burrows; son-in-law Merl Sterling; sisters Dorothy Gleason, Julietta Roth, Jeanne Eltrich and brothers Dr. Martin Eltrich and Francis Eltrich. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staffs of Tacoma Lutheran Home, Franciscan Hospice, St. Charles Parish, and especially Pat Gleason, a very special niece, for their care and support. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
