Lois married Roger A. Kniskern on July 14, 1956 at St. Joseph Church in Marinette and he preceded her in death on October 13, 2012.
Lois enjoyed playing cards, collecting rocks and seashells while camping with family, finding the best bargains at rummage sales and cruising around on her golf-cart. She was known to love a brandy old fashioned sweet with at least 3 olives and watching her favorite TV show while solving word search puzzles.
Lois is survived by her children: Allen (Diane) Kniskern, Nancy (Kevin) Chaney, Karen (Dean) Desterheft, Terri (Dennis) Schuchart, Wendy (Michael) Lock, John (Lori) Kniskern and Stephanie Kniskern;
her siblings: Ken (June) Marbes, Annette Francour, Donald (Donna) Marbes, Kathleen (John) Lord and David (Linda) Marbes;
as well as 17 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Lois was preceded in death by both of her parents; her brother Thomas Marbes and his wife Mary;
a grandson Shane; her great-granddaughter Vega; and brother-in-law Gene Francour.
Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, Feb. 3rd at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.
