Charlotte Jean Arbogast, 57, of Slater, died Monday, May 4, 2020 at her home.
Graveside services will be Friday, May 8, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Slater City Cemetery, with Terry Jordan officiating. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be observed. Memorials are suggested to the Slater Ministerial Alliance in care of Weiker Funeral Home.
Born December 15, 1962 in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Judith Ann Gibson Hopkins. She was married to Dave Eby, who preceded her in death. On August 28, 1994 in Slater, she married Raymond E. Arbogast, and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2019.
She is survived by two daughters, Jamie Capestro of Lake Ozark, and Alicia Eby of Slater; a son, Nick Eby of Slater; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Charles Bernard Hopkins of Miami; two sisters, Jennifer North of Marshall, and Kathy McClanahan of Slater; an uncle, Henry Hopkins of Marshall; and an aunt, Mary Ford of Slater.
Mrs. Arbogast had worked at Banquet Foods and International Shoe Factory, both in Marshall, and Big Bend Retreat in Slater.
