GOLDEN, MS – Avinell Sides, 90, died Monday, May 4, 2020 at The Courtyards, Fulton, MS. She was born in Red Bay, AL and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and spending time with her great-grandchildren. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, Golden, MS.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 6, 1 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Golden, MS with Mike Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two children – Billy Sides (Debbie) and Lisa Smith, all of Golden, MS; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Jennie Segars Harden, a son, Kenny Sides and a grandson, Randy Sides.
Pallbearers will be Chance Gentry, Wayne Beam, Donnie Wood and Bill Worley.
