She will be buried at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines, IA. Due to COVID-19, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
Doris was born to Mamie Masters and Karl Clinton Adamson on April 21, 1922 in Centerville, IA. She attended Williamson High School.
After graduation, she received a bachelor’s of science degree from Drake University and started her career at Armstrong Tire.
In her free time, she enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and traveling.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Hazel Brannian of Brooklyn, IA; and nephew, Roger Brannian of Ankeny, IA.
Doris is survived by her niece, Laurel Seeley of Huntsville, MO; nephew, John (Anita) Brannian of Sioux Falls, SD; niece-in-law, Deborah Brannian of Ankeny, IA; and three grand-nephews, Ben, Tom, and Austin Brannian.
