"The LaFayette Sun" - January 14, 1914:

Death of Mrs. John A. Frazer.

News was received here Monday night of the death of Mrs. John A. Frazer at the home of her son, Rev. W. H. Frazer, at Anderson, S.C. Some several weeks ago, Mrs. Frazer accompanied her husband to Anderson with the hope that his health would be improved and shortly after reaching there she was stricken suddenly ill. For some time her condition has been such as to cause great apprehension upon the part of her family and physicians. At the time of her death she was 65 years of age. She was married to John A. Frazer on Dec. 16th, 1869. She leaves five sons, Rev. W. H., J. Frank, A. R., Eley and Ben, and two brothers, Messrs. Sam and William Abernathy and one sister, Mrs. Lett. The body was brought to Buffalo today and the burial had from the home and the mortal remains laid to rest at the Lebanon Presbyterian Church cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. W. T. Hollingsworth. Mrs. Frazer was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was a consistent Christian. Her death is a distinct loss to her family and community. To the bereaved The Sun offers sincere sympathies in this hour of grief.
