VIOLA KUDEK

Viola Kudek, 77, formerly of St. Kilian in the Town of Wayne, died Saturday, March 30, 1996, at All About Life Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 11, 1918, in the Town of Ashford, a daughter of Kilian and Mary German Ruplinger . On April 25, 1939, she married Wilmer Kudek at St. Kilian Catholic Church in St. Kilian. She was employed at Fireside Restaurant in Allenton as a waitress until retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church, the St. Kilian Church choir and St. Mary's Altar Sodality.

Survivors include two sons, Robert and his wife Verna, and Dan and his wife Joy, all of West Bend; two daughters, Jeanette Thelen and her husband Robert of Fond du Lac and Christine Bergseth of Hubertus; a special friend, Romand Kuehl of St. Kilian; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, John Ruplinger and his wife Edna of Kewaskum; four sisters, Bernice Fleischman and Madeline Zehren, both of St. Kilian, Helen Zettler of West Bend, and Mary Ann Lichtenstiger and her husband Donald of Campbellsport; three sisters-in-law, Martha Kudek and Malinda Kudek, both of Kewaskum and Audrey Rupinger of St. Kilian; and one brother-in-law, Arnold Amerling of Kewaskum; and other relatives.

Preceding her in death were her husband Feb. 1, 1980; her parents; three brothers, Ralph, Orlando and Leander; one sister, Cordell Amerling, and one son-in-law, Edward Bergseth.

Services: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum, and at 11 a.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. The Rev. Victor Kemmer will officiate. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Visitation: Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home, where a parish vigil will be held at 8 p.m.
