BIOGRAPHY
Janet was married to Franklin William Lee "Pete" Shumaker in June 1959 and graduated Chamberlain Vocational School in 1960, 8 months pregnant with her first child. She was divorced from him in December 1970, though they had been separated (numerous times during their marriage) for the final time around 1963.
Janet studied cosmetology at Chamberlain, but eventually became a bartender to support her children as she was a single mother. Later in life, she worked for Banta/Omnia in a factory setting, running a machine that made gauze and other medical items.
Janet married Charles William Brown in 1974 and they moved, along with her 3 daughters, to West Virginia. Janet and Chuck separated in the summer of 1977 and she moved with her children to Florida. Although I'm unsure at this time when they divorced, they eventually got back together and re-married in 1982. They were together at the time of his death in 1998.
