Indiana State Board of Health Certificate of Death No.99, for Van Buren Township, Brown County, records that Ralph Settle, a 6 month and 27 day old white male, died around 6 o'clock on August 23, 1907 in Van Buren Township of "Cholera Infantum." He was the son of James Settle, born in Brown County, and Frances Sprague, born in Bartholomew County. The informant was John Settle of Waymansville, and she was buried at Grandview Cemetery in Brown County on August 23, 1907, William Trimpe of Waymansville, undertaker.
