Dennis C. Christensen, age 74 of Suring, WI (formerly of Gillett, WI), passed away at Woodland Village Nursing Home in Suring, WI on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Dennis was born on September 16, 1942 in the Town of Maple Valley, WI to the late Clarence and Savalia (Moede) Christensen.
Dennis is a graduate of Suring High School with the Class of 1960. He was employed at various plywood plants for many years until his retirement. His pastime was hunting and taking long walks. Dennis was good at telling old stories of years past.
Dennis is survived by his two sisters: Marlene (Dick) Olson of Suring, WI and Nancy (Lenny) Berge of Neenah, WI;
two sister-in-laws: Ruth Christensen of Gillett, WI and Leone Christensen of Gillett, WI;
brother-in-law,John Dinse of King.
He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Ralph Christensen and Richard Christensen; a sister Patsy Dinse; a nephew Michael Olson.
Visitation will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 10 am until the funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Bill Krauss officiating. Inurnment will take place at Frostville Cemetery, in the Town of Maple Valley.
