On July 22, 1961, Marlene married Richard Olson.
After their marriage, the couple resided in Suring and raised two children, Sandra and Daniel.
For many years, Marlene worked at Nu-Line, until its closure. She then worked at the canning factory in Gillett, WI for many seasons. Marlene enjoyed gardening and flowers.
Marlene is survived by her husband Richard;
two children: Sandra (Benny) Stuewer of Fond du Lac, WI and Daniel Olson of Seattle, WA;
three grandchildren: Thomas Stuewer, William (Katie) Stuewer, and Eric Stuewer;
four great-grandchildren: Maddyson, Tayden, William Jr., and Katniss;
her sister Nancy (Lenny) Berge;
two sisters-in-law: Ruth Christensen and Leone Christensen;
brother-in-law, John Dinse.
She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Michael Olson; three brothers: Ralph Christensen, Richard Christensen, and Dennis Christensen; a sister Patsy Dinse.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2020 at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring from 10 am until the funeral service at 12 pm with Pastor Andrew Jantz officiating. Marlene will be interred at Frostville Cemetery.
