Calvin Clifford Boan, 93, Spring Hill, Kansas passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the Wellsville Retirement Center, Wellsville, Kansas. Private family graveside service will be Wednesday April 29th at Spring Hill Cemetery, Spring Hill, Kansas.

Calvin was born on June 30, 1926 in Camdenton, Missouri to Floyd and Eva Rogers Boan. He grew up in Camdenton and graduated from Camdenton High School. After High School Calvin was a Paratrooper in the United States Army during WWII. On February 12, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri Calvin married Velma Hammer. Calvin and his family moved to Spring Hill from Merriam, Kansas in 1969 and lived in the area for 51 years. He worked as a brick mason and farmer and he liked to spend time hunting and fishing.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Elnora Boan and his wife. He is survived by his sons, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren
