Sarahleen Lyons Campbell, 82, of Waverly, died Saturday June 30, 2001, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.
She was born Nov. 2, 1918, in Waverly, the daughter of Robert and Edith Theresa Crawford Lyons. She married Merle Hugh Campbell May 23, 1941, and he preceded her in death Oct. 21, 1986.
She is survived by two sons, Terry and Johnathan "Butch" Campbell, both of Waverly; three daughters, Joan Richardson of Panorama City, Calif., Donna Martin of Corsicana, Texas, and Teresa Campbell of Waverly; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard "Dick" Campbell; three brothers, Merle, Joy and Robert Lyons; and two sisters, Eula Clements and Mildred Wilhelm.
Mrs. Campbell was a seamstress for Hertzberg Book Bindery in Jacksonville for several years. She was a member of the Modesto Baptist church.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Neece Funeral Home in Waverly, with burial at Waverly East Cemetery.
