CALEDONIA, Minn. (Special) — Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at St. Columba Catholic Church, St. Paul, for Mrs. Carl Hamm, who was the former Josephine Palen of Caledonia, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leopold Palen.
Mrs. Hamm, 67, was killed Sunday morning in a car driven by her husband. It went out of control and smashed into a tree in Minneapolis.
She is survived by her husband and a son by a former marriage, Lester Wescott, St. Paul; one sister, Mrs. Frances Fuos, St. Paul; and two brothers, Henry Palen, Caledonia and Emil Palen, La Crosse. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, St. Paul.
