Ann L. Jones, 76 died Friday Morning, August 10, 2007 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. She was born August 21, 1930 in Georgetown, SC a daughter of the late Noah E. and Carrie Austin Lang. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Wendell E. Jones, Sr., a son, Wendell E. Jones, Jr., three brothers, John Joseph Jake Lang, Noah E. Lang, Jr. and Fritz W. Lang, two sisters, Freddie Mae Lang and Lillian Lang Williams and a grandchild, Bailey Jones. Mrs. Jones was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Myrtle Beach and a devoted member of the Abston Sunday School Class. Ann was a loving, kind, and generous lady who was well known for her sense of humor. She gave of herself to family, friends and many others who never knew of the levels of her graciousness. Ann was the owner and operator of several Myrtle Beach Hotels but her greatest legacy is that as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother and she will be missed by all who had the joy of knowing and loving her. Survivors include, two children, Harvey L. Jones, Sr. and his wife, Lynne and Wendy Jones Bellamy and her husband, B.J.; a brother, James Arthur Lang and his wife, Marcia all of Myrtle Beach, SC; a sister, Edythe L. Myers of Pawleys Island, SC; nine grandchildren, Harvey L. Jones, Jr. and his wife, Amy, Joey Bellamy, Tara Bellamy, Mike Bellamy and his wife, Dawn, Rick Bellamy and his wife, Tempra, Carrie Jones, Tina Harb, Joey Harb and Denise Harb, seven great-grandchildren, Cody and Taylor Jones, Cameron, Evan and Harrison Bellamy and Chase and Isley Bellamy, daughter-in-law, Mary H. Jones; four brothers-in-laws, Herman Jones and his wife, Frances, Ralph Jones and his wife, Jackie, Jack Jones and his wife, Betty and Wilbur Jones and his wife, Phyllis all of Myrtle Beach, SC and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 3:30 PM Sunday August 12, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Myrtle Beach with Dr. Bruce Crawford officiating. Burial will follow the service at Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McMillan-Small Funeral Home on Saturday August 11, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials in Ann's memory may be made to First Baptist Church of MB, 500-4th Ave. North, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 or The Cardio-Vascular Fund of Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, 809-82nd Parkway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29672.
