Sarah Dickson of Chambersburg, married Joseph Barnett, Jr. at unknown date. He was the son of Joseph Barnett, Sr. and Elizabeth Graham, of Hanover Twp., Lancaster (later Dauphin) Co., PA.

On 3 Jun 1812, her husband Joseph died at the residence of his daughter Mrs. (Sarah) McClure, in Pittsburgh. Per Pennsylvania Genealogies; Chiefly Scotch-Irish and German, by Wm Henry Egle, 1896, p 64-65, (see photo of) 69.
Note: early Dixons were also in Hanover Twp., in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, possibly a connection.
