Born on January 27, 1928, son of the late Charles Alfred Aiken (1891 - 1951) and Mary Prudence Morrow Aiken (1904–1995); husband of Mildred Phillips Aiken for 53 years.
A member of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg.
Survived also by his daughter, Emily Aiken Finley (Jack); son, Terry P. Aiken (Mitzi Brannon); grandsons, Wayne Finley (Tanya) and Brandon Finley; and a granddaughter, Melissa Finley.
Graveside services held at 11:00 am, Friday, February 23, 2007, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Chaplain Mike Wolfe.
